How Do Retargeting and Tracking Pixels Work?

Help Center > How Do Retargeting and Tracking Pixels Work?

Retargeting and tracking pixels are common and effective tools that allow marketers and businesses to use a digital advertising strategy that allows them to show ads to users who have previously interacted with their website or content. This helps keep your brand in front of potential customers who may not have converted on their first visit. Our platform supports full integration of retargeting pixels.

How does it work?
Once setup, you can attach your pixels to links and QR codes you create and every time a user interacts with that link or QR code we ping your ad network and let them know and users are tagged when they click. Pixels can be added, changed, and/or removed from any links within your account at any time.

The LookTiny platform supports most major ad management networks, as noted below.

Adroll
Bing
Facebook
Google Ads
Google Analytics
Google Tag Manager
LinkedIn
Pinterest
Quora
X (Twitter)

You can work with your preferred ad network vendors and obtain their pixel tracking codes and integrate them directly into your short links and QR codes to retarget your customers and further leverage and utilize your ad campaigns. Please see your ad network help documentation for additional information on obtaining proper pixel ID values to provide.
